🔄 Updates for Tables in Microsoft Word Online
New updates to tables in Microsoft Word on the web make it easier to insert or move rows and columns.

Microsoft has enhanced the table editing experience in Microsoft Word for the web. The latest updates offer a more intuitive and streamlined approach, featuring a refreshed look and improved functionality.
Users can now insert rows or columns with a single click, eliminating the need for right-click menus or navigating the ribbon. Also, moving rows and columns is simpler, as there is no need for cutting or pasting.
These updates are currently rolling out for Targeted Release users and will become generally available in September 2024.
Insert a Row or Column with One Click
Position the cursor where a new row or column is desired. A + icon will appear next to the appropriate row or column.
Click the + icon to directly add the new row or column to the table.

Move Rows and Columns with Ease
Hover over the row or column intended for movement. A group of four dots will appear, indicating that the item can be moved.
Click and drag the four dots to reposition the row or column. A blue line will guide the user to the new location.
Release the row or column to place it in the desired spot.

Ease into investing
“Ease” being the key word. With automated tools like portfolio rebalancing and dividend reinvestment, Betterment makes investing easy for you, and a total grind for your money.
✅ Subtasks Now Available in Microsoft Planner (Premium)
Microsoft has released “Subtasks” for Premium plans in Microsoft Planner, effectively breaking down larger tasks into smaller ones.

Users with Premium Planner can now create subtasks. To do that, please follow these simple steps:
1) Create a new task that requires subtasks.
2) Click the three dots on the right.
3) Select “Make subtask” in the popup menu.
4) Add multiple subtasks by hovering under the subtask and clicking the + icon.
5) Add subtasks to subtasks by clicking the three dots on the right of a subtask and choosing “Make subtask.”
6) Reveal subtasks by clicking the down arrow next to the task.
🗂️ Kanban Boards in Microsoft Loop
A few months ago, Microsoft introduced Kanban boards in Microsoft Loop, allowing users to organize and manage their tasks and projects.

Kanban boards, which are similar to Trello, enable users to create tasks, assign them to team members, set deadlines, and track progress across different stages, enhancing collaboration and productivity within teams.
To create a Kanban board in Microsoft Loop, type “/” or “/kanban” within a page and select “Kanban board.”

🕟 3 TOP EDITOR TIPS FOR MICROSOFT WORD
TIP 1 - Change Case Quickly
Use this handy tip to ensure correct capitalisation.
1) Click and drag to select the text to change. To select a single line of text, click the line three times (quickly), or press Ctrl + Click or Command + Click.
2) Head up to the “Home” menu and click the Change Case “Aa” icon.
To speed up the process, use these keyboard shortcuts:
Windows: Shift + F3
Mac: Shift + Command + K
Please note that you can only toggle between lowercase and uppercase on Mac, while you can toggle through all options on Windows.
3) Select a case format.

TIP 2 - Check Readability Score
A document’s readability greatly impacts engagement. For web or marketing copy, aim for a score between 60-70.
1) Click “Editor” in the “Home” or “Review” tab. [1]
2) Scroll down the Editor pane and click “Document Stats.” [2]

3) Click “OK.”

TIP 3 - Rewrite Suggestions
For Windows users, you can get rewrite suggestions.
1) Right-click the text you want to change.
2) Select “Rewrite Suggestions” in the popup menu.

3) Select a suggestion from the list below.
